Stig Hansen holds a Master of Interior Design/Spatial Design from the Danish School of Design in Copenhagen, Denmark. He is based in New York City since 2003.

His professional career in New York City includes working with Yabu Pushelberg, Christopher Coleman Interior Design and temporary housing provider Furnished Quarters. During his time with Furnished Quarters one of the most notable projects was the Q&A Hotel at 70 Pine Street in the Financial District in Manhattan, this project was conceived and achieved in collaboration with Benjamin Noriega Ortiz of BNO Design.

Stig Hansen has completed and collaborated on various residential and commercial projects, large and small scale, in Copenhagen, San Francisco, Boston and New York City from design concept through complete installation. His work has been featured in “Bo Bedre” the largest Design and Interiors Magazine in Scandinavia.
